I had the honor of interviewing the great Eva Preston yesterday! Well, in actuality, it was an all-out informative and FUN conversation! Haha! Eva is an amazingly talented Multimedia and Wearable artist. Inspired by her father, a tailor, her aunt an artist, and designer Omar Bishop, designer for the Delfonics, Eva has worked and exhibited alongside such creatives as Wale' Oyejide, designer for the Black Panther movie, and Coming 2 America Part 2. Eva is a creative force, and I am so honored that she is our first "Spotlight Artist" showing next month at PAUL Interactive! Coming up this Fall on PAUL Magazine's Literary Limelight, we’ll be featuring artists, authors, and avid readers as they discuss books and the importance of reading. I’m truly honored to welcome back, for the second time to PAUL Magazine, my friend and accomplished artist, author, and philanthropist, Danny Simmons. Danny is the founder of RUSH Art Galleries in NYC and Philadelphia. Established in 1995 by Danny, along with his brothers—media mogul Russell Simmons and Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons of the legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC—RUSH was created to bridge the gap faced by disenfranchised communities and people of color in accessing the arts and exhibition opportunities.
